Vice President of Sales - Install Services

Position Description

Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the achievement of company goals by growing revenue from contracts with new accounts and retaining and growing sales of its national delivery and install business. This position will be accountable for developing sales within retailers and manufacturers.

Reports To: President

Direct Reports: Account Managers and Sales Managers

Essential Duties:

  • Building and managing sales and business development strategy with an emphasis on the fitness and outdoor product industries
  • Monitor overall quality and customer satisfaction
  • Improve and refine processes to increase sales and facilitate the integration of new accounts as contracts close
  • Ensure prospect database contains current information on revenue potential, close probability, etc.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the organization and its services to help customers design delivery and install solutions
  • Comprehend and execute Go Configure’s value proposition to effectively communicate with the C-Suite internally and externally
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with key customers to fully understand their business situation to move the account(s) beyond the standard selling relationship
  • Provide support to customer service and operations in implementing the service for new customers
  • Responsible for all decisions related to obtaining goals and strategies provided by the President

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and/or Marketing, Business Administration or comparable experience selling services to retailers and manufacturers
  • 6+ years of selling services
  • A proven track record of building relationships, negotiating and closing contracts, meeting/exceeding revenue and profit goals
  • Experience in fitness or outdoor products is a plus
  • A plus for significant experience in selling services into retail
  • Ability to construct, present and execute a business plan
  • Strong knowledge of negotiating and closing contracts

Skill and Competency Requirements:

  • Executive caliber business person. Must be financially literate and have strong business acumen to develop and close business.
  • Executive level communicator. Expert presentation, verbal, writing, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong personal presence.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Highly competitive and performance-driven being both client and profit oriented.
  • High energy and drive and takes accountability without hesitation for individual and team results.
  • Must like working in a dynamic (early stage) environment as well as a successful track record of growing revenue from adoption through market share leadership.
  • Ability to work in an organization with minimal brand equity in the marketplace.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
