Customer Advocate

The Customer Advocate is the primary source of new COD order creation for Go Configure. The secondary function is to provide customer support in a role where intimate, working knowledge of the geography and the technician base of the customer’s area is not needed. This position will work closely with the Service Coordinators and Account Specialists to serve our customer’s needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handle all inbound calls presented in a professional, confident and courteous manner
  • Be available and ready to take inbound calls for the duration of one’s shift
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Service Coordinators
  • Understand all aspects of the services that we offer and our SLAs to ensure that customer is well informed at the time of sale or for any follow-up questions they may be presented with
  • Provide clear and concise guidance for customers purchasing service to help them understand what must be prepared before our technicians can perform the service purchased
  • Provide accurate quotes to inquiries paying close attention to detail to ensure that technicians understand the full scope of work and the order can be completed as quoted

Key Competencies and Skills

  • High level of understanding of all Venus processes
  • Working knowledge of the work order management process
  • Professional, confident and empathetic handling of customer issues
  • Ability to approach all sales calls with a bright, helpful attitude to ensure that customer is confident in our capacity to serve them well
  • Willingness to accept coaching and continually strive to meet goals and improve performance
